В. Новодворская об А. Солженицыне

Solzhenitsyn chats with the former Soviet leader Mikhail Gorbachev during a 1998 reception in the writer's honor at the Swedish embassy in Moscow. The writer returned to Russia in 1994.

The Nobel Prize-winning writer Alexander Solzhenitsyn was one of the most prominent dissidents in the Soviet Union. However he has been rehabilitated since the end of the Cold War. Here he is visited at home on June 12, 2007 by Russian President Vladimir Putin, who awarded the author the State Prize for his humanitarian work.
